A: Over 2,500 sq. ft. (232 m2) can be installed in 1 hour with a team of 4 without the use of special equipment.

A: 4,000 sq. ft. (372 m2) can be installed in 1 hour with a team of 4 and a forklift.

A: Over 13,000 sq. ft. (1,207 m2) can be shipped on a 48’ flatbed, over 12,000 sq. ft.(1,114 m2) can be shipped on a 53’ truck and over 9,000 sq. ft. (836 m2) can be shipped in a 40’ shipping container.

A: YES, MAX has been lab and field tested to verify its ability to support over 80,000 psf. (390,594 kgf/m2)

A: MAX’s unique puzzle piece design allows it to be quickly installed and the QuickLocks can be easily locked in using your hand or foot.

A: Yes, it can easily be picked up, moved and reinstalled.

A: MAX panels are just under 7 lbs. (3.08 kgs). 2 x 5 panel mats (3 ft. x 7.5 ft/ .92 m x 2.29 m) weigh 70 lbs (31.75 kgs).

A: MAX is specially molded with a traction pattern that increases traction for workers and vehicles.

A: Yes, our products are made of polypropylene and polypropylene is termite proof.

A: Yes, PORTAFLOOR keeps a high level of MAX inventory in stock and ready to ship.

A: It was designed for installation on multiple surfaces including sand.

A: No, it is an environmental barrier approved by the US Army Corps of Engineers. It can be used under any PORTAFLOOR products or by itself as needed.

A: Sparks will BB and roll off, but larger slag will damage MAX. We recommend using a fiberglass welding matt to protect the surface.

A: Polypropylene is a no-porous, non-reactive material suitable for food preparation areas, if FDA approved materials are required they may be rolled over MAX.

A: MAX panels were designed to expand and contract within its own footprint. MAX QuickLocks were designed to keep the MAX panels 3/8” apart during installation. As an extra precaution against extreme hot temperatures, it is recommended that a 3/8” to ½” gap is allowed between the outer edges of MAX and the edge of the building structure or curbing.

A: MAX is made of non-porous polypropylene and or recycled polypropylene and will not absorb water, contaminants, chemicals (list available)or bacteria. Commercial power washers and environmentally friendly cleaners may be used to quickly clean any dirt or debris from the top of the MAX panels or from the underside support grid.

A: MAX can be stored on pallets in an open air environment with no degradation to the product.
